Description

This is Revenger. Here is his story (it's a bit long, so kick back and relax).
In WWII a young man with incredible strength and skin as tough as a rhino's hide walked into the Royal Canadian Army enlistment office and asked to join the Army. Like many of his generation he wanted to do his part and help bring freedom to Europe. The Canadian government instantly realized what they had on their hands, a weapon of unknown origins that could help turn the tide in the War in Europe. The famous American "Super Soldier" was gaining monumental attention and already helping the Yanks in Europe so the Canadian government quickly followed suit and emblazoned their own Captain Canada. They immediately sent him to the front lines and he was a part of every single major Canadian offensive that he could help take part in. He fought in Africa, he bled in Italy, and he helped storm the beaches of Normandy.
When WWII ended this young man was now a battle hardened veteran of several campaigns. He came home to his beloved country to ticker tape parades, dinners with heads of government, and interviews with every major newspaper in the world. He was famous, he was respected, and most of all he was a hero to a new generation. After the war and all of the hysteria quieted down the young man went home to his native Vancouver to live in peace, but his country needed him still. More and more people were being born with super powers and many used them for evil purposes. Some robbed banks, some kidnapped wealthy heirs and heiresses, others simply wanted to destroy what had took so long to build. The Canadian, as he was nicknamed by the media, sprang into action.
For over forty years he helped keep the Canadian people safe from harm. He lost an arm, a leg, and his right eye over the years but the Canadian government spent millions to repair him and make him stronger. Then one day the phone calls for help stopped. The Canadian took this as a sign that he had done his job and crime was slowing down across the country. He turned on the TV one day to see a young man dressed in red and white fighting a giant monster that had come from the sea to destroy the mainland. The Canadian jumped to his feet to aid the young man, and was greeted at his front door by two government agents. The government agents explained to the Canadian that he was no longer needed, and that the government would be seeking "outside sources" in the fight against evil. The Canadian was crushed and unable to speak. He turned around to see a triumphant young man on television standing over an unconscious sea monster. The media instantly dubbed him, The Fightin' Canuck!
The Canadian felt something he had never felt before. Disappointment, jealousy, humiliation, and rage all rolled into one. He blamed this young man, and instantly targeted him as the source of his anger. The Canadian was no longer the center of the country's attention, and worst of all... he was no longer needed. The anger would boil, and the jealousy would rot the once proud young man who fought so valiantly for his country. Years later the Canadian was no longer remembered, people on the street did not care that he wasn't around anymore. He was forgotten.
The Canadian disappeared from public view, his friends and family had no idea where he went. He simply vanished. Five years later a new villain exploded on the scene, the Revenger. He was incredibly strong, small arms fire bounced off of him, and he had the same mechanical appendages that The Canadian had. It didn't take a rocket scientist to fuigure out who he was. The Revenger had one mission. Make the Canadian government pay for their judgement and actions, and to show the Canadian people who was the strongest and the most worthy to be Canada's premiere superhero.

A Canadian super villain; how fresh. I like the creative thought to this backstory. The entitled Id of The Revenger, though? What about something like Dark Abandon or were you going for a four colored feel?
